In the summer of 1986, while enrolled in
the Architecture program at Auburn University, my classmates pranked me by sharpening the named ends of all my Prismacolor pencils just as we began final presentations; my trees had green trunks and brown leaves, it was hysterically funny,
I guess...

Since graduating, I have worked almost exclusively in the print industry, applying that knowledge to the design, fabrication and installation of everything from Way Finding signage to a 72 key Electronic LED piano in a Children's Hospital to running prepress for National Geographic and Smithsonian publications. A solid understanding of color theory mixed  with a love for math has produced some incredible results and accurate color for all.

What is Color Blindness?
Color blindness is not ‘color blindness’!
There are still a lot of people who think that if you are colorblind you really can’t see any colors.
But the term is misleading, as more than 99% of all colorblind people can see colors.
A better wording would be color vision deficiency, which describes this visual disorder more precisely.
Visit Colblindor at www.color-blindness.com and learn a lot more about color vision deficiency,
try out some tools or even take some online color blindness tests.

The left side is more like what I actually see, I miss contrast between colors that blend together yet see value very well.

This picture fades from normal color on the left to greyscale on the right. thankfully, i see color, just not as much as others

Like to fish, ride bicycles, and be a floridian. I build model cars, race a radio controlled truck, collect hot wheels, and tinker at making art through painting, fabrication, writing and photography. My collection of tools is as ecclectic as my taste in music. We gather magnets from our travels and have plastered our refrigerator with little blurbs of history.
